Pilots and Mechanics
2016 AirLife Pilots & Mechanics
AIRLIFE pilots are among the most professional and experienced pilots in the country, and are employed by Air Methods Corporation for Rotor Wing and for Fixed Wing. Each Rotor Wing pilot is Single Pilot IFR proficient and must past biannual training and checkouts in both IFR and VFR environments. AIRLIFE pilots possess the highest skill set, allowing them to fly successfully in the Rocky Mountain environment. These skills involve high/hot altitudes, day/night mountain operations, and extreme winter operations. All the pilots with AIRLIFE currently hold, or are in the process of obtaining, an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and currently operate under FAA Part 135 Rules and Regulations. All have military or college backgrounds. With over 20 years of flying experience for each pilot, safety and professionalism is the hallmark for AIRLIFE Pilots.
