An awards ceremony will take place at 10:00am and medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place overall will be given to the top male and female participants in each event: 5K Walk, 5K Run, 10K Run. The 17th Annual AirLife Memorial Run, Walk and EMS Muster was supported by the following sponsors:
2013 First Place Winners:West Metro Fire
Second Place: Denver Paramedics
Third Place: Aurora Fire Department
|The FREE Kids Fun Run was a great success. it started off with the mascots warming up the kids with a few exercises. Then the whistle sounded and they were off! All were winners as they crossed the finish line to enthusiastic cheers from the crowd of onlookers and the Denver Broncos cheerleaders.|
Thank you for your help! Without your support the Run would not have been such a success!
The muster brought tears to our eyes as the EMS vehicles lined the start and lit it up when the starting bell rang. The sirens and whistles blared and the lights flashed as the runners ran through. What a tribute to our EMS partners!
All Proceeds from the event go to the Friends of AIRLIFE Organization. The Friends of AIRLIFE Organization is a 501(c)3 non-profit group whose donations are used for ongoing care and maintenance of the AIRLIFE Memorial Park near the site of the helicopter crash, EMS education, the Jim Ulrich Silver Falcon EMS Award, and charitable assistance to families of EMS professionals who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
